Behind the Frame is proud to be partnering with PICTO, one of the world’s most prestigious photographic printing labs. Created in Paris in 1950, PICTO has been the printer for some of the world’s most famous photographers as well as the most prestigious brands in the world of fashion and luxury.

PICTO played a key role in the history of photography, as the lab’s founding clients were friends, members or relatives of the young agency Magnum Photos. Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa, William Klein, Willy Ronis, Robert Doisneau and many others frequented the lab in its early days and continue to patronize it.

Since many of the greatest photographers of the 20th century trusted PICTO to print their work, we are immensely happy to continue the tradition of transforming memorable images into beautiful printed objects that can be hung and properly appreciated!

Note:
All of our photographs are printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper using the latest giclée printing techniques. All our printing and framing is done in France and the USA.
